No idea. Did you accidentally hit one of the check boxes to select them all and delete them perhaps? If you click the topmost box on the page, it selects them all, then when you hit delete, it clears all of them on that particular page.

No, I usually just click on the link in the email alert to direct me to my inbox on here and then click the home button on the forum when done reading it.  Been doing it for ages.
