« on: October 30, 2009, 10:44:58 PM »
hey guy's after reading this ( http://www.tgpforums.com/index.php/topic,2274.0.html ) , i am pretty new here , Now when i fist got my TGP about 1 1/2 years ago started running bad, so i changed fuel pump, didn't fix it them went to a pull-a-part got a ECM out of a corsica thinking this might fix it, but didn't come to find out it was the injector instead, now i left the corsica ecm in there car is running fine but idles fluctuates up and down, the power seems to be still there , you guys think i should put the original one back in? i did swap chips see video below if you guys think its running ok  thanks

I split your topic off from the other old one you posted in and put a link to it so people could see the post you were referring to.

From looking at the video, the car looks like it's running pretty strong to me. Your idle fluxuating idle can be caused by a number of things such as a cracked crossover, leaking fuel injectors, etc.

Yea your right , my cross over is leaking, and i read on here someone makes them, so the stock ECM out of anther car would not affect this car if i swapped out the chips right ? i am really trying to baby this sweet car but it seems it has more than 205 hp seems more like 300hp , i will DYNO it as soon as funds are here, i just painted the engine for the car show coming up check it out,,,,
