Lol,since you work at a Chevy dealership you should know they stopped making 350's in 1998 in the trucks.
It was either a 4.8,5.3 or 6.0 and if it was a 6.0 then it was a crew cab.

Regardless,nice kill-sounds like fun.

I'll gladly race you in my 97 Yukon 350,though if you can beat a slightly modded LT1 then you'll likely have me.
Best I ever did was a 9.12 in the 1/8th,but always took camaro's by surprise :)

That's moving pretty good for a SUV! Have you ever ran it a full 1/4 mile and what's done to it? For what it's worth, my topgun chipped TGP has been a best of 9.37 in the 1/8th mile on a 2.148 60ft spinning a bit.

Really?  My 2000 GMC Denali (OBS) has a 5.7 (350) which was the actually last year for the 350.

Sorry,I was specifically taking about trucks (what was mentioned above).
The 350 continued in the GMT400 suv with the 99 tahoes, yukons, suburbans and then again in the 2000 tahoe limited and denali.
The 350 actually continued much longer in the express vans(2004-5?) and also in the Mexican models.

We use the Express van calibration file to swap to the LS1 style pcm,as it uses the vortec w/dist and the 0411 pcm used on LS series engines.

Coolness,

Yep, the 0411 PCM is a good upgrade for these trucks.  If I was keeping mine I would switch PCMs.

I'm contemplating trying to run my tgp engine with an 0411 or something similar.
The only thing that has me stalled swapping over OBDII on this thing is the cam sensor.
I'm tossing around finding some help to maybe find a way to use the PCM only in batchfire mode which doesn't need the cam sensor, though without any loss of other cool functions.
Right now trying to find an overseas or obscure model that might have an OBDII operating system on an older 60* (or anything really) without a cam sensor.

Only reasoning behind any of this is the fact I have alot of equipment to tune most all GM V6 and V8's 96-2006.
That and i'm a factory trained OBDII tech, and hate the lack of info on the older systems (i'm terrible with them).

Nothing will probrably come of it other than some internet searching, couple questions to the buddies that did 0411 and some quick experimenting when the block is fully dissassembled.
Not smart enough to get into OBDI tuning for this project, might not be smart enough to OBDII swap it either!

In the next few months I'll be living in Europe again, I'll help as much as I can.

I wish,Europe tends to stay ahead of the curve.
If it's to be found it will prob be in less developed country.
I'm thinking Mexico or bust due to lackof regulation(and prosperity)

I raced a modded 350 Blazer last summer in mine.  I rode in it and thought there was no way I'd beat it, but we decided to run em anyway.
