why is the stage 3 better than the stage 3 + or is this only a matter of opinion?

I have a six puck stage 3. it's kind of a pain in the ass; as everyone has said it's pretty much an on/off switch.

I had to help a friend down the street change out his 4t60e on a 97 lumina 3100 eng. I've never done one before, so it wound up taking the whole weekend, so I never got around changing mine. but by next weekend I will have the stage 3 6-puck in. Hopefully it won't take me long to learn how to drive and get use to it.
