Worked on the interior a little.......
« on: August 15, 2010, 03:58:31 PM »
The carpeting on the door panels and rear kick panels was coming off in many places and really looked like hell. So I bought some heavy duty adhesive and peeled it off and put it back on. Its not perfect but it really looks a lot better. In a few weeks I am going to go back and use some really good cleaner and detail the edges. I only took pictures of the driver side, but the passenger side pieces were just as bad. I am pleased with the results.  :icon_cool:

If not yet, they eventually will. I re-glued mine a few years back. I masked off my doors w/ plastic and masked the edges of the carpet pieces where they're visible, then resprayed adhesive on the carpet itself + some of the door panels. I then flattened it all out to get rid of any creases I had, then held pressure on it for a while to keep it flat. Mine looks exactly like it did from the factory now.

Oh yes I remember those days, I call this nick picking for myself. AS soon as I thought that I had it right, no shit, I would turn around the next day and complain about it, untill it was almost perfect. Matt damn good job :thumb:
