What is the best way to seafoam my TGP?  It has a bit of a stumble off the line (probably an injector) and I need to know the best way to put some seafoam in (besides the gas tank).  Is there an easily accessable vacuum line I could inject it into?  Any ideas?  thanks  ;)

Well if your injector is bad seafoam won't do anything, and a stumble will most likely be caused by one, also a vacuum leak, or a bad cross over pipe.  I would assume that a good vacuum line to use would be off of the throttle body, probably the EGR, possibly the one to the FPR ( don't know for sure ).

Do you have an original cross over pipe?

I'm thinkin that my injectors are just dirty, cuz I put a can into my gas tank two weeks ago and it made it stumble a lot less, but not completely go away.  I'm thinkin if I get a non diluted (no gas in the seafoam from the tank) solution of seafoam through a vacuum line, it might get rid of the stumbling all together.  I don't have any vacuum leaks, I have checked the whole thing over, but I still have the OEM crossover.  I am ordering a crossover from Jeff M. this coming weekend.

The cross over will fix a lot of your idling problems, although it can't hurt to run top end cleaner on your car, probably could use it regardless.  You do realize though that it will only be cleaning the air passages, and not the injectors though, right?  Running some carb cleaner through the throttle body essentially will do the same thing.

cracked x-over makes it run rich as a pig, can ruin plugs and the O2 sensor, so keep that in mind, follow those directions closely and it will run great when done.  Follow all the recommended tune-ups in that packet, you won't be disappointed.

Well I just bit the bullet and did it last night. I took two bottles of seafoam; I put 1 can in the gastank and the other in a spray bottle.  I took off the tube that goes from to the intercooler to the TB, took the spray bottle with seafoam in it, had my neighbor step on the gas pedal to open the butterfly, while I sprayed the whole bottle into the TB.  It's a good thing I live out in the boonies, because it made about half of my 20 acres into a dark fog!   Then I took it out for a speed run; I went around my 6 mile block, and out of each corner I held it at WOT and got up to about 80 on each straightaway to clean out the system.  By the time I got it back home, it had quit smoking and ran AWESOME!!  Before I did the seafoam, it had a bad miss off the line, and just idling it would miss also.  At stoplights, it would go down to about 500 RPM and almost die, then rev up to about 1,100 RPM and just keep repeating the same thing.  Now, after the seafoam, it will hold a steady idle, whether in Park or Drive, and it now has NO miss anywhere on idle, or getting off the line.  It NEVER stalls either.  Seafoam has cured all of my drivability problems!  My TGP is bone stock, right down to the cracked crossover, and it now runs like a new car!  I now swear by Seafoam!   Best $9.00 (2 bottles) ever spent!
