Good news for all owners of heavy supercars with small brake rotors!

there is a new ceramic laced brake pad available at your local parts store, and I am sporting the first set that I know of. So far they are quiet and are breaking in well.  Once the break-in stage is complete, we will see how long it takes to grate them off with my Powerstop x-drilled rotors.
TopGun160,x-pipe,TB coolant bypass, new stock injectors,coils,Taylor Spiro-pro 8mm,Iridium,Monster 2 gauge cable from alternator to charge post,new vacuum/boost lines
latest upgrades: ceramic brakes, Hyperground wires, Prior Reman. Powermaster III ABS

Nice...is there a brand name for these pads? Would they be available at a place like Autozone?

I'll try to find out the brand name. They were like $65 for the front, about twice as much as severe duty pads. I will find out what store we got them from too, not all places have them yet. It was through my friend's shop so I think they might be more than that though.

see if they have them for POS ------------------> 98+ intrepid.  think your w-body is underbraked??
hi-flow intake, straight pipe, dsm bov, 24lb inj,  polished upper intake, turbo, and frt valve cover.

autozone has been carrying "z rated" ceramic pads for our w-bodies for a good while now...for around $60 IIRC....the autozone here has them anyway, I believe they are a special order item that takes a day or two to come in. I'm fairly happy with my performance friction pads, they do quite nicely when heated up, just eat the rotors up a little quicker.
