I just  came back from my maiden voyage after a 4 month winter project that included new crank, bearings, timing chainset, jeff xover, rebuilt turbo (turbochargers.com) a new radiator, coil pack, wires, tranny filter and flush(hardly any powder on magnet) and I installed a PermaFlow 2950 cfm puller(primary fan) that is amazing along with a KN air filter and pvc as well. The entire front subframe was cleaned ans epoxy painted in satin black. Lines were polished and cleared also. The performance is amazing and the turbo whine means business. I have owned 12 cyl Ferraris and classic corvettes and I say this is right up there.  I'm adding the Topgun chip & 160 stat as well. I can't wait. This is a 66k mi car that is in amazing overall condition to begin with. Car # 257  Thanks everyone for your help. Rob NY

Is it the last 3 numbers of the vin?  I wonder if this would be correct for STE's.

well if there where 2 thousand of them made (i have heard) then wouldn't that require 4 digits?

Just a thought.

It kinda seems like a lot of tgp's ended up in the same general area.  I have seen 1 green, 2 burgundy, and my red TGP's in northern, va.  I saw 2 white STE's in VA, and DC.  I did a search on the junkyard parts website and found there were quite a few totalled tgp's in the D.C metro also.
