How much heat does the oil return line have to take? I bought some hydraulic hose and can't get it to push on the turbo cause of the steel core in the hose. I went to another place today and found low pressure hose that doesn't have the steel core but it says it's only rated up to 207*.

Go ahead and use it, a stock chip kicks on the cooling fans at 190, if you are using a jeffm's 160 chip kicks on at 160....  :spit:  :drinking:

I read that turbo temps get above 1000, but any good hose should do the job.  I bought some from a local diesel service station.  Works fine, and the best part is it was free!

Thanks, I wanted to use the heavier hose but I just can't get it to slide on the turbo.
