Drivers Door Handle

Anyone have an extra laying around?  Mine is totally stripped and I can't open my door unless I go through the pass. side.  All the yards within 75 miles of here don't have any, I guess it's a fairly common problem.  If someone knows of where they can get one, and wouldn'd mind heading to the yard to pick it up,  let me know, we could probably work something out.  Thanks.

BTW: Have you tried adjusting the linkage on the handle yet?

No.  I will do that for a temp. fix, but I can see the handle has started to break, so I'm gonna need a replacement.  You find one let me know what you want for it.

Mine broke a few years ago and I went to a local 'used parts' lot and they had a brand new OEM replacement for about $50.  It was a bitch to adjust, but it works just great.

I have an 89 with security lighting, so I need one with the ring around the lock.  I adjusted it, but it broke the next day, so now I am still climbing in and out of the pass. side!   :shock:

That ring for security lighting can be removed from your current handle. It's just slipped in between the lock and the handle.  :D  :wink:
