Just out of pure luck I was getting out of my car at night and  hit the door lock switch and the doors locked then i closed the door.  I looked down through the window and noticed that the lock switch was still lit up.  I wiggled it a couple times and it wouldn't go out.  I finally kept locking and unlocking and then it went out.  Even though its a little amount of current, with me not driving the car that much (maybe 5 times a mo) the battery will run down to nothing.  I ran down 2 1000cc battery's   !  So if you got a mysterious battery drain problem you may want to check them.

How long did the light stay on for? just curious  , I know the 93 light cut-off after shutting/locking the door is 8 seconds, but the older one is set for slightly longer, I swapped out my drivers side window switch for one out of a 91(I think) and it stays on slightly longer than my other lights for some reason?

90TGP, that switch is supposed to stay lit for awhile. Watch it some time and see how long it takes to go out.

Hmm.. so that's a 'feature' eh? I thought it was a problem with the switch, lol. Guess I'll leave it alone then..

Mine stays on and will not go out at all.  Just to make sure I hit the switch went in the house to take a few shots (30 min) came out and it was still on so I know its bad.  Also the drivers mirror isn't working with that controller.  I did switch mine original with a junkyard unit so it could have been bad already.  I had to wriggle and bang on it a few times then it would go out.
