i saw a pick of some guyz gtp with a 2 airfilters connectes into 1 by a split pvc would that be a good mod idea....

For a 3.4? Dunno. Probably a waste and something that can be acomplished with one filter.

Kind of pointless, and a waste of money. One filter is all that it needs. Buy a drop in K&N for your stock air box, and then modify the box so it's not as restrictive (cut openings on the right side of the box). You'll get the same performance that a Cone filter would provide, but minus all the extra heat the cone would pick up from the exhaust crossover.
