I am reading your sig and your screen name and it seems that you have a bit more boost than the normal performance chip without listing low compression pistons. Is it just in the words or are you actually running 18psi?

Do you have any pics of the CO2 intercooler chiller? 8)

A resistor in the right place makes the fuel cut all go away. HKS makes a thing called fuel cut defencer, and is basically a resistor in a cool black box that does exactly the same thing.... And 18psi is not far out of the question, unless his motor is completely stock. But if he's running a wet kit, he's probably got some internal mods, or at least some sort of metal head gaskets. I ran 18 psi on my dsm fine even on the stock engine. Also, the TGP has slightly lower compression than a stock GP due to some of the mods McLaern had to do to make the turbo work.

how much of a improvement is a co2 charged intercooler than a watercooled intercooler....or would it be good to use them both in conjuction?  18psi.....i just wish I could get 1 psi as of right now
16 and turbo'd......make own conclusion.

The water cooled unit doesnt cool as well after 2 passes, and requires a tnak of water that is substantially heavier than a c02 tank. The co2 system cools faster, and doesnt suffer from the coolant being recycled and heated like the water cooled units do. Downfall to co2 is the bottle has to be refilled, but usually about as often as a NOS bottle. Cost is $.08 an once.

would i want a bigger one or just one of better quality?  Im also putting a T4 turbo in so i guess bigger would definatley be the way to go

Both would be a good idea. A 3rd gen Supra intercooler would be a good addition if you are going to T04

Hey1bum

are bigger I/C's just plug and play, or do they require some modifications?

Will require some modification, as well as some plumbling changes. The Supra FMIC will fit the nose of the TGP with some work, and the extra piping isnt that hard to run. We did one on a 91 Sunbird, should be close to the same.

The C02 chiller, i've been considering doing that, do you have it set up so you can just flip a switch and the valve opens and the co2 sprays?, could you explain what you did? Thanks,
