How do i gut the catalytic converter.....my car has a 180000 miles on it so im pretty sure its as clogged as they come...any help would be great thanks. :?:  :wink:

I haven't ever done it, but you would either have to cut the pipe right in front of it and pull it down enough so you could ram some pipe thats about 1/2 in diameter , or cut the cat out completely so as to be able to handle it better.  Then either have it welded back on or get a coupling for each end cut and use exhaust clamps to seal the cuts back up.  If you live where emmissions are tested, you will want to put on a new cat.  they can be bought for as little as $50 on ebay for a high flow.
