My Turbo Cavalier is DONE!!!

Well guys, first of all, I would like the thank Curtis Walker for all his help in this project...This guy knows too much about our cars, he needs a brain vacation...
.....In 7 days, got everything unhooked, drained everything, got engine out, put turbo engine in and got car over to the exhaust shop...did I mention it took only 7 DAAAAYSSS????
Now...i have bloody knuckles, scrapes, cuts, bruises and very sore fingers. But it was all worth it. At first I started it up and the starter made a horrible scratching noise (I forgot to mount the starter shim plate on, Thanks Scott! :D )...once we got that problem fixed the car would turn over but not start...we could hear a vacuum leak. Curtis plugged the leak, then we recharged battery....SHE FIRED RIGHT UP!!!!! She sounded great...We had no coolant line hooked to it so we let it idle for about 30 seconds and i watched the oil pressure which was fine, the car idled great and sounded great. I only have to wait for the exhaust shop to make the downpipe/intake/intercooler piping and then some more coolant lines to replace.....I am so tired guys....6 nights with 4-5 hours of sleep each night....Now is the wait for breaking it in...I think i will baby her for a couple thousand miles then really get on her. I have a video of the car starting and idling....as soon as Scott uploads it to the computer, I'll post it.

Man I would primer that damn thing. Pull off the front fascia. Put a plastic bag in place of the pass. rear. window. Now that would suprise people when you blow past them w/ your SaranWrap window flapping in the Flutter of your turbo. 8)

thanks for the supoort and comments guys....its been a really tough 2 weeks and i cant wait to get her out of the shop. ReallyfastZ24 went ahead and bought a GTP now...booooo!!!! lol but he is enjoying it and thats all that matters! Well, whe i get the videos up i'll post them guys......
