Ok..when I got my TGP, one of the fuses was blown for the ABS. So I drove it home with no power assist.   I replaced the fuse and everything worked fine. Then, a few weeks ago I was out testing the car and the other fuse blew...the one that I didn't replace. So, I replaced that one. THEN...last night, while I was putting the car back in the garage, the fuse blew again. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? I know I'm using the correct size fuse.

maybe a stupid suggestion but sounds like you have grounded the circut... :?:

The circuit isn't grounding out. I checked on that already.

And Chris, it's the two larger fuses that are in the ABS electrical "center" on the driver side fender. I can take a picture if that still doesn't explain it.

I think that they may be going because the accumulator on the PMIII is out, and the pump is running so much.

Thats very likely.

What typcially happened on the older Powermaster in the Grand Nationals is they accumulator would die, then the pump would start going south. Replace accumulator, but then the pump fuse would blow once every few months, then every month, then every week.

I haven't seem it a lot on the PMIII, but very possible.

Well..it is the pump fuse that is blowing. The accumulator was out when I got the car, and it still out now...since I can't justify spending $300 on one right now when the car doesn't even have plates. I soldered a circuit breaker in place of the fuse. That should work for now.

You can get a replacement from Prior for $99.  I put one in mine, doin pretty well with it.

I have the same problem, I'm going to replace the accum and pressure switch and see what happens.

Is there a pressure switch available that isn't strictly GM?

Oops, I meant the relays keep blowing, not the fuses.
