Check out this page I found about some different oils, some useful info.  Under 10w-30 there is a "valvoline turbo" listed.  I have never seen or heard of this, has anyone?  Wonder if it is for turbo cars or just a name.

I would guess it's just a name.  I went to their site but couldn't find anything about the oil.  Looking at those numbers they sure do make a good argument for Amsoil!  I've been tempted for a while to try it out and after reading that I just might do it.  Of course it is their website so they are going to make it sound better then the competition but I've heard nothing but good about their oils.

Under personal experiance, Amsoil is good stuf. I used to use Mobile 1 all the time, but when exxon bought mobile, they messed with the formula and now it's no better than regular mobile regular. Amsoil however after 3000 miles comes out nearly as clean as it went in, and still maintains quite a bit of its original viscosity. Oh, and thats in my Supra Turbo which was beat on regularly. The TGP is even better.

Well, you can buy it directly from Amsoil, or you can get it through an Amsoil dealer. They don't distribute like other oil companies do. I've only seen it a few retail stores selling it, like Bumper To Bumper and Fleet Farm. It used to be completely sold out of the home.   But lately they've been getting more and more into retail sales. The oil isn't cheap either. I think it's around $4.50 a quart. Heck, the transmission fluid I put in my LE was Amsoil. It cost me $4.75 per quart...and I had to buy 7 quarts!   It's good stuff though. :D
