So I'm looking at the original window sticker from my car today and I notice in the "THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PROVIDED ON THIS BASE MODEL AS MANUFACTURED BY PONTIAC and ASC INCORPORATED" section that it says "Tinted Glass".  So now I want to know did these cars come with tinted windows or is that talking about the cheesy worthless tint strip they put at the top of the wind shields?

I believe but am not sure, they are refering to the green tint that almost all glass has on it.  Other than that I wouldn't have a clue.

You are right god910. That slight tint to the windows is an option! Otherwise they would be perfectly clear.

Yup.  Every single window sticker I've seen says "tinted windows".  Why, without that barely visible greenish tint, we'd all be lost

Kinda like "halogen headlights" what car doesn't have that now. It just a way to make it seem like you are getting  a lot i suppose. But the tinted glass is a real option on some cars.
