hey im gettin a performance rebuild on my TGP few questions i need answered asap so i can order parts....are the pistons between ours and the stock 3.1 the excat same? i mean excatly  as in interchangable,   does anybody know if the TGP came with gapless rings or did GM take the cheap way out and put in normal gapped rings? also my lower engine mount(s)? need replaced....want neoprene replacments anybody know where i can get them and price?  and last but certainly not least i want to put in roller rockers, however the only set i found in a quick search was almost 400$  no way! anybody have them cheaper? and one question that came up is in regards to height......will the roller rockers just bolt in? or do they or some other parts have to be moded to make them fit? oh....i know that you can get RR cheaper than that waaayyyy cheaper but i want forged Al not cast Al ...................car is apart and i am crunched for time so speedy replys are appreciated

Go here and do a search for pistons and rocker arms. I just posted some info on them but don't know where. Pistins are the same with standard rings. There's been trouble with the roller rockers breaking guide plates. There bassically Chevy with a special stud to accomadate our 10 mm thread in the head.

I may have posted it here.

The pistons were made by MAHLE..that's why they have the extra beefy construction....as Jud outlined in a different thread.  :D

Why would you go with a 3100 piston?
