I was driving my car the other day and of course the anti-lock light came on after a while..  and I noticed while I was stopped that the headlights were dimming every few seconds under steady pedal pressure.

Now when the light isn't on, or blinking, I get 3-4 pedal presses before it recharges, but when the light is on, it runs every time.  I replaced the accumulator in the spring and it didn't solve the issue.  I've read some things on the PM III but has anyone experienced this?  I've seen some things on diodes (sp) and grounds.  Possibly the pressure switch?  Any ideas?  Thanks guys.

It doesn't run anymore.

Mine was doing that. It drew so much juice from the car that it would blow a fuse every time I drove it. So I soldered in a circuit breaker to replace the fuse until I could replace the PMIII.

I haven't noticed it since I replaced my PMIII with the one I bought off ebay. The one off ebay needs an accumulator yet, but it seems to run less than my other one did.

Well I haven't blown any fuses, but I have a replacement pump that I will be installing over the winter, along with the rear break upgrade, and hopefully new front calipers.  I just was thinking that it might not even be my pump, maybe just something electrical.
