i'm think'n that a turbo grand prix on a getrag with minor mods could take it.
now don't get me wrong , i love those rsx's. i saw a tag in one the other day that stated that honda certified that car as a low emmissions vehicle, and yet that little thing still putts out 200hp....thats cool. But my gutt still tells me that a stick shift/grand prix turbo would do the job. granted, if you find one, it's a car that has gone through a tranny swap.

That's a tough question.  My Friend bought a RSX a few month's ago with a 6-speed.  And it is really fast.  I could see the RSX possibly winning, but it would probably be a close race.

Maybe I should try to race him some time and see who wins!!!

At 6009' altitude the RSX sucks pigs!!!! Hey Waskie...finally got the guy at my work to go light to light..probably driver inexperience, but he couldn't keep up through two lights. I would think he would have done better if he could have launched a little better! 200 HP and it's One legged!!! hehehe!  8)

Actually, I raced an RSX in Eau Claire WI last saturday. I ate him twice and on the third run I noticed his tires chirp and engine start screaming. I still waled, but barely. I talked to him later and he had a 50 shot. Not a Type s though...
90 TGP- Mods, yeah I have them...
90 DSM Turbo 5-speed
02 Beetle GLS

Look! I finally updated my sig!!

hp to weight ratio dictates that the tgp would need atleast 240 to take it, id HOPE that you guys are putting down that if you have anything more than an air filter & muffler!!

Dude, seriously, you just bumped four threads that were all at LEAST 5 years old.

Yeah, I just couldn't figure out a way to work in the one member who claimed that adding a valance to his lightbulb kept it from overheating...
