Well, I got the TGP running over the weekend after a couple of problems.  One was the clutch master/slave line was leaking(removed accumulator), but I fixed it with some SS flexline and some AN fittings.  Anyways, I have about 60 miles on it so far and I'm taking it easy on it until the clutch is broken in.  So far it seems pretty badass and I can't wait until I can actually floor it from stop to see what she'll be able to do.  I have some pictures to post, but you can't see the tranny anyways with the turbo on top, but there is a picture of the shifter.   :P

I'm going to finish putting the center console back in this weekend.  I also still have to wire in the back-up lights, but that shouldn't be hard at all since it's only 2 wires.   8)

I assume you know how to get your backup lights working (I had to do the same thing to mine). If you want your trunk release to work, there's 2 wire2 (I forget the colors) that goes to the PRND switch that you have connect together. If you want the info, let me know.

Why don't you have the 5 sp. tranny mount?  The second pic is still an auto mount.  Or did the 284 not have a Y mount like the 282 did?

i guess since his donor car was a DOHC car, it wouldn't have had the right dogbone anyway.  i have a spare 3-point dogbone & 3-point bracket if you're interested, but it needs new bushings.

As malibuolds stated, the donor car was a DOHC 3.4 so it wouldn't have worked.  I found a 3 point 5 speed dogbone bracket at the yard, but I didn't bother as I didn't feel it was necessary.  Plus, I'd have to buy an extra set of poly bushing to put in it.   I noticed at the yard that not all 5 speed GP had the 3 point(unless someone changed it).  I just put on 2 aluminum dogbones as I had a couple sitting around.   :P  8)

I'm getting some from Michael.  Yeah, I didn't think about the 284 only coming w/ the TDC.

I would suggest it, it really helps keep the engine from torquing up with the standard bushings. My suggestion is to replace the engine side with poly and keep the rubber on the core side. You'd be surprised. Even with poly bushings the mounts can swing more and twist up.

I already have poly bushing in both dogbones on both ends thanks to your website.   8)

Sorry, that wasn't too clear. I was referring to the triple dogbone, not the standard ones.
