What is the metal tube that screws into the plenum right after the TB?  It has about a 2 foot metal tube that is shaped onto it and it looks like the other end accepts a vacuum connector.  Where does the other end go?  Please Help!

You can see what I'm talking about if you look halfway between the IAC and the plenum on this picure from Chris A's website.  (Thanks Chris)--

I'm finally attaching the plenum after getting the heads redone and I can't wait to hit the gas BUT WHAT IS THIS TUBE!!!

Thanks in advance,

It goes to the vacuum modulator sticking out the front of the tranny.

It's on the front of the tranny. Look straight below the inlet of the turbo and you'll see it. Here's a pic. Follow the YELLOW arrows. One points to the line and the upper one points to the vacuum modulator. Ignore the red arrow. It's pointing to the oil return line.

Ah HA!  Finally, a photo of someone having done the grill mesh thingy like I was thinking about doing.  Not bad.  But having them in the fog light area looks a bit....wierd...

Yeah, the kid that did some of these things to this car just baffle me.  He could have done it better and made it turn out nicer, I am just leaving it there until I get some aftermarket driving lights to go in it's place.  I'm hoping to find some nice Xenon lights.
