Ok, so i know that they had a problem with the clusters needed to be resoldered (sp?), my question is which guages exactly quit working.. because my boost, low fuel light blinking on and my trip guage don't work.

is the stock boost guage mechanical or electrical? i need to find out if its a damaged vaccume line or a cluster issue. i know it worked off and on for about a week but has not moved sence.

All the inst gauges are electrical and get their feed thru various sensors, the turbo thru the MAP sensor hanginging on the rear of the plenum. It converts pressure to a voltage and sends to the boost gauge.

If its the listed solder job it affects the "check gages" light and "low fuel" light.  I have repaired two of these with that repair.  The rest is all electric with one plug.

If you need a cluster I have one cheap, the only problem is the speedo is 30 mph fast.  You can swap stuff from cluster to cluster.  I put the original odometer back in and it was only two screws.  Not sure about the speedo but I'm sure it can be done.  Probably the same with the boost gage.  I'm selling so I wont need extra parts.

 Cheap is like $20
