i have a key fob from my monte carlo which is the same one that should be needed for the TGP. i need to know how to reprogram the fob to work with the modual in my TGP. Anyone have instructions. I didn't see how to reprogram it in the manual.

Thanks,
Shane

I think this is it:

In the trunk, next to the power antenna motor, there should be a wire with a harness on the end just hanging there.  Ground that to the body or somewhere.  When you hear the doors cycle, or click, press the buttons on the FOB.  I don't think it matters which one.  Keep pressing the buttons till you hear the doors click, then press it one more time, and I believe it should be set.  Someone chime in if I'm wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure that's it.

Let me know if that works.  I haven't been able to get mine to work (bought a FOB off eBay.  Not sure if it's the FOB, or the receiver that's not working).

next time you're at the junkyard, look in the glove boxes.  if you find one just pocket it or stick it on your keychain.

are you sure that one will work? It was my understanding it had to have the Lock/Unlock next to each other and the trunk below them.

The other key fob pictured should work I guess, just slightly different button placement, my parents 94 Regal has that key fob pictured above.
