The fuel pump on the TGP is screaming so loud that you can hear it when you walk away from the car.  Inside the car it drives you crazy.  It is still working though the car doesn't drive or run any different.  Is it ok to run it like this or is there something I should do?

I would drive it until the tank is empty then replace the pump. Don't wanna be 50 miles from home and have it fail on you.

I would say the same. who knows where you will be when it goes.. Check http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com for the best price i know of for a walbro 255LPH pump.

When you're in there do me a favor and take TONS of pics.  I want to see how feasible an aftermarket pump would be on a stock setup.  (I plan on using a cell, but w/ most people won't want to do that.)  Hopefully you have a digital camera.

Yeah, my sister's LeSabre T Type is in the same boat right now.  It's obnoxiously loud, but still running.  Though starting it has taken 4-5 tries lately, as opposed to instantly firing up like it had been.  She had it replaced with a non-Delco one 2 years ago.  Further support for why I don't go with cheap-o after markets when it comes to fuel pumps.

Well it looks like with my income tax return I'm going to be replacing the pump then.  I guess I won't drive it very far until my LeBaron gets its new trans on monday then I can park it till I can get my welboro pump.  I will take pictures for all of you with my digital.  I hear its a real pain in the ass to drop the damn tank though.  The way things have been going for me with this car I'm not gonna call it a car anymore I'm going to call it my mini investment.  I've paid more for fixing the damn thing than I paid for the car itself.  But hey what good muscle type car isn't gonna cost you some benjamins?  :D
