That thing about running hot, mine goes up like that when I turn it off.  I think it's just the gauge.

It was my understanding that the CD Player wasn't available until 1990.   Am I wrong on this?  Or just not getting the point you guys are trying to make?

Yep, almost all electrical guages will do this upon cutting the key off.  I would be worried if the picture was taken while the car was running though. :wink:
