How the heck do you get the "Oh Sh!t handle" on the passenger side off? I know those end caps have to come off somehow (sliding??) but I can't make them move.  Help would be much appreciated.

Get the smallest screwdriver you can find and just pry them off.. it took me a bit to figure it out.

just pry down?  When I tried that at the junkyard, it broke that plastic piece.  Like a small piece that goes up over the handle.

You have to be very careful in getting the end caps off.. They pop up at the ends then slide toward the center. this will expose the screws needed to get the assist handle off.
