hey i just remembered that my radio controls on the steering wheel. seemed to work off and on.  it seemed like those controls worked when i had my high beams on (or was it low...some set of circumstances??) or they just didn't work at all at times...anyone else having this problem?? any known solutions??
thanks in advance

When it gets really hot out, mine will stop working for a short time.  And the radio will shut off.

ever seen little puffs or light smoke come out of the steering wheel area?.
Its the electronic contact grease burning from bad contacting steering wheel wire gyro(name?). Over time...it gets really dirty and might not make good contact..hence the smoke. This also makes the controlls not work right. Try cleaning it up with electronic motor cleaner and a fiberglass pen (sold at radio shack or electronics stores). Then regrease it with light amounts of electro grease.
