procrastinating..oh well.

I went to the junk yard today and saw that indeed the 89 Grand prix with the 3.1 had a vacume egr. All the 2.8 had the same vacume. But all 90s had digital. I knew I saw the 3.1 with the old egr...I just thought it was the Euro.

off sub...but I saw a Diesel Potiac 6000. I didn't know they made those...how rare are those?
Turbocharged 88 IMSA Beretta GTX <-dam stright.
90 ASC/McLaren Black TGP.

Powermaster slowed my progress like I was piloting the Queen Mary herself--

Same here, as well as my AWDs.

I don't think there's any benefit with the version in that photo, and they're no easier to maintain (fail just as often).  Plus they cost a hell of a lot more.  You can get them cheaper elsewhere, but at GM, they're over $300 for the style in your photo.

With that being said, I don't see why you don't just plug the hole on the exhuast manifold and and just make it "appear" to be working, not that it really does anything anyways

I thought out cars relied on the egr. Wouldnt you have to take the EGR out of the code for the car to run right without it?
90 TGP- Mods, yeah I have them...
90 DSM Turbo 5-speed
02 Beetle GLS

Look! I finally updated my sig!!
