I think I did a write up about the overflow bottle relocation, but I cant find it. Anyone know where it is?

I will probly be borrowing your idea Invasion, my RU1390 is falling apart at the inlet mouth. But first I have to get some new motor mounts/dog bones, followed by a new exhaust (since my cat is clogged). I will be starting a new thread since I have exhaust questions..

I Pm'ed Dave about his filter a while ago, and i now have it on mine.  I really like it.  I did something a little different for crankcase breathing i'll take a pic this weekend.

BTW, you WILL need to move the coolant overflow tank.  I moved mine to a pretty cool spot using a windshield washer tank from a 90 GP SE.  Ill take a pic of that as well.

Yeah, I just couldn't figure out a way to work in the one member who claimed that adding a valance to his lightbulb kept it from overheating...

I wouldnt say that. I have had mine moved since I rebuilt mine. I couldnt stand the location, and it blocked airflow to the K&N, and how hard it was to tell if it even had fluid in it, or to fill it.

O.K. I picked up an overflow tank. Interested in seeing pics of the breather system and washer tank set-up Dark Ride.
My K&N should arrive by the end of the week. So by then I should have a plan of attack.
By the way. What should we use to get the overfill tank nice and clean inside and out? Thanks guys.

K&N arrived today.  :icon_biggrin: Probably tackle this tommorrow. Just need to pick up some hose and that 90* fitting.
I'm really glad I waited to do this mod. Did a lot of researching here.
I'm psyched! Got a chip coming soon too!  :icon_twisted:

Installed my K&N today. Thanks Dave for your info. It worked out great. I re-located the coolant overflow and also did the AC fin mod. Makes some strange noise under the hood now. Sounds like a vacuum cleaner!  :icon_lol:
