Remove shifter handle

I'm getting ready to really clean the entire interior of my tgp, but I can't figure out how to remove the shifter handle :bad-words: . I have the console half apart but I need the shifter off to take it out completely.
1990 TGP: stock minus the K&N air filter and high flow cat
1999 Oldsmobile Aurora: What a step up from my 95 Monte Carlo
1967 Plymouth Belvedere II: 318 c.i., Flowmaster Exhaust, and in deserate need of new rear tires.

Use a screwdriver to pull the pin out on the back (facing the dash).  THen pull the handle off.
