Well for the longest time..I couln't get my car to agree with my tunning technics. I even followed expert advice on tunnning and couln't get my tunning right. I have made like 100s of changes to tables..and nothing. I would have a crazy leaning condition at high rpm boost (4500+ and 7+psi) and would knock. I thought...injectors..they were new thogh..fuel pump...also new..corvett pump. So is my timming off..nope..I even pulled more timming than what was considered safe with out an intercooler. I was at a loss. WELL when I was swaping my last trans in..It hit me like a ton of bricks when I saw the problem  :splat:      . I had left my little tunning mod I had made on the map sensor harness when I had the turbo setup on the old 2.8. I had a variable resister (volume knob) and a series of resistors on the map wires telling the ecm theres less pressure than there is to compensate for the 3300 injectors I was using on the 2.8. What a dumb ass..    . After that...I had better responses. I even put more timming with 10psi..and worked like a champ..while it lasted...dam junkyard trans..   . So when your chip tunning...get all those little tunning mods out and in the trash...they will scruew with your tunning alot! Live and learn.
