I don't think it is feasible to do it the more i think about it if some comes up with great design and trys it i would like to see it, a CAI, and any reduction in heat with the thottle body air pipe would help a lot though

BTY http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/turbo/intercooler.html  is a great site to calculate heat loss with intercoolers

I found this site helpful for a lot of homade turbo car mods, including intercoolers, alchol/water injection (which is what the link is for) turbo info, ram and cold air intakes, and exhaust. I might try the homeade setup near the bottom of the page but i am not sure i would get any gain, i am guessing you would have to be chipped for sure, maybe if somebody who knows something about how the chips work, and how this would affect our boost levels could me the link is: http://www.geocities.com/rad87gn/tech/alcohol.html which is worth reading and the homeade kit link is

Hopefully no one will disown me for researching on the turbo buick site. (lol) at least they are not ricers.

just my 2 or 3 cents

how about a supercharger/ blower then inter coolers then turbo to throttle body?  sameway as a a/c compressor have a clutch on a blower thats controlled by electric pressure sensor hooker up between the turbo and throttle body.    so when the turbo gets to about 9 10 psi the blower kicks on and pushes air through the intercoolers and helps the turbo out.

may work. maybe I'll try it if I get one

Alright, hold everything. Everyone needs to stop fooling around with dual intercoolers and stuffing extra sh@$ in the already packed engine compartment.

What y'all need to do is rip that dang intercooler out of there!

Thats right. Take the ic out and mount it in front of the radiator. Then have custom pipe bent to plumb up to there.

But now what do you do with all that extra space? Hmmmm, How bout a huge K/N cold air intake with a heat shield around it.
