I was looking at the spring codes for my 90 tgp and the 92 gtp that I'm parting out ... the gtp has much firmer rear leafs ... My question is they bot have the same sprting code for the front so would puting the gtp springs on the tgp make for a better ride or should I leave them and go with a compleat aftermarket  setup...

p.s the car will be mainly used in road course and strip aplacations...

If you have the time/tools/know-how you probably could swap it over. But I would just leave it and get a rear strut tower brace. Or just swap over to the rear-coil over set-up with a rear brace.

Does coil-over and brace set-up add weight?
