Not enough info.

Are they both TGP's with pmIII?

ABS light, brake light?

Leaks?

Motor runs ? If so how long at start up?

This is just a start. Be explicit on your description of what they do or don't do and I am sure you will get some help. We have all had problems with  brakes.

Sweden, I bet parts are a bitch to come by there.

After a quick look, there is the same system...??

Parts are no problen in Sweden......and my frend works whith american cars all day. And we ship 8-10 containers, part and cars/year from Florida.
But we have never done a brakingsystem om GP.

I think he is going to be in for an experience just based on how unique the PMIII (Power Master 3, or commonly referred to around here as Wallet Thinner 3).

I think the best thing for you to do would be to get a picture of the ABS pump under the hood and let us get a good look at it.. describe to us exactly what is happening, are there lights flashing?  No pressure on the pedal?

Hello Hakan,
The problem with the Powermaster 3 is that the internal parts for them are not available. They have a problem with the back casting cracking and No aftermarket parts are available. You do have a way to get it fixed,
http://www.priorreman.com/   has a remanufactured unit, part number 4600107 with a new back piece that they machine out of a solid aluminum block.

Go to these sites and browse through them, there is a lot of good info on them. Turbograndprix is mine and Jeff M's he is THE TGP guru

We have two cars , one turbo and one non turbo, with same problem.

ABS light flash.....pedal pressure (little to low).....but no brakes.

Do you have a pic on the part ??

I'm assuming that you have checked the fluid level, if it is OK then you need to get the Prior Remaned unit, I have 4 turbo grand prix's, had 5 a few months ago, so I've dealt with this issue for many years until I found out about Prior.
I even have a spare one sitting here in the computer room on the floor still in the box!

Today I took the Powermaster 3 out of my GPT.

How do I take the mastercylinder appart.....?????
I have removed the steel ring.....and the aluminium thing, with the rubber rings. But I can?t get the pistons out.
Someone have a drawing....so I can see how it is constructed.

Again, GM does NOT make this information available, in the factory manual; it shows how to remove the solenoids under the fluid reservoir, and how to remove the external parts, but nothing on the internals.
I have the factory manuals and all the supplements... but again there are NO pictures of what you want.
I can get you a picture of the Prior Reman unit that I have, I broke my leg a little over two 1/2 weeks ago so I'll need to get the Old Lady to help me get my camera, and get it out of the box if you want a picture of it.

No that was the first one of the year, so I'm still at 2!
I thought I'd try bungee jumping at work, but didn't have a short enough rubber band!
I've been working on a wrecked locomotive that had hit a earth mover with a lowboy trailer, and I was taking off some tweaked main body cover doors when one popped and hit me in the head (hard hat was on) and it knocked me off the locomotive, a six+ foot drop! And it's my right leg near ankle. I'll know in a week if it is OK or they will have to put screws in it.
