t25 upgrade

I was wondering????Can you put the compressor wheel off of a t3 on the t25.I did a search on a nissan web site and found that a guy had taken a t28/t3 compressor wheel and it fit right on the shaft of the t25.He also noted that he had to modify his compressor housing for the larger wheel.Has anyone here tried this?I priced an upgraded turbo and it was over $600 for a complete rebuild and upgrade.Seems alot cheeper to do it myself considering I have a t25/28 repair kit and several used t3s laying arround.Any help would be appreciated Thanks.
