Well my 1990 Cutlass 5-speed died today.....

so i grabbed what little parts are any good on that POS.

5-speed swap guys

1990 Cutlass version 282 Getrag 5-speed shifter and cables (included hardware to install in none 5-speed w-bodys)

Blew the Engine and im not fixing that piece of crap... :lol:

took the parts out that i wanted and the wrecker is comming next week

so im now winter car shopping again  :?

I'll take the boot for the shifter if it's leather.  If it's the accordian style I'll pass.

No Boot

Trans is also in rough shape and im doubting im removing it from the car due to that reason

lots of grinding into reverse and from 1st to 2nd then really bad into 3rd

You would still have a good rebuildable core...

if i had space to remove it in the Garage i would but doing it outside in February is not gonna happen..... :lol:

oh ya its a Quad4 version of the 282 so i don't think it will even fit a V6

It might actually if you swap the bell housing.  I believe that is possible.
