So its tires???

Brand?
Size?

and

TIRE Shine man and clean them up for heaven's sake......

tyroelite

lol, i live on a dirt road basically... well, mostly the city is just dirty but you know...

anyhow, they are federal ss-595's... 245/50/16

got them from onlinetires.com

The nice thing is, for the past few weeks I've had replacements on that were from my old GP... stock steelies spraypainted gold with good year eagle #1 NASCAR tires on them in the front, a stocker in the bck passenger side and a smaller grey wheel in the driver rear... its nice to have matching wheels again.

like the tread on those, kinda like my toyo's

Narly looking tread pattern  plenty of meat for road contact, and just enough big grooves for water evacuation 8), and maybe help with slippery mud too.

Hey, others might like this too   but check this place out, these wheel inserts work excellent and NO THEY DO NOT effect brake performance  (sorry, typically get that as the only reply when I have posted this before  ).

They install easy but first a few user tips, (and the last time with this much work cleaning them i.e. that is the point of having these inserts) take the rim/tire off the car, get in there with a tooth brush and scrub out the years of brake dust crap in those crosslaces, use some bug-and-tar remover and let it soak to get out the real baked on shit (don?t do this in the sun or when its hot out) , rinse off the bug-and-tar stuff and any solvent and give them a good bath inside and out.  Then I would suggest to take the time to wax them as you WILL find you won't have to clean the rims this much at all afterwards, and the wax will help keep dirt and stuff from sticking.  Now, if you have tape weights on your rims, just use a metal snip or scissors to make a very small cut at the end locations where this wheel insert contacts the tape weights when it is put into place, so that the metal you snipped just lifts up a little, don't get nasty and whack it to death as it might show from the front. Then put in the insert and if it fits snug then be careful not to bend it up getting it in there, they typically fit just a little snug, I am very careful and try to bend a little to get a little snug to it so the insert stays in place when the tire/rim is taken off/put on the car.

Here are my rims with the inserts, actually gives the rims a nice backdrop/background to help set off the gold and shiny aluminum parts.  Unfortunately they might look like shit on some 5 spoke wheels with big openings  , but with the stock crosslaces and the stock TSTE rims, hardly seen at all, and I have never had any hard work cleaning the crosslace on my TGP or Indents on my TSTE.  Also snip off the last parts of that link above to see their Main Home Page and other stuff, they have color versions now of these inserts.

No heat build up from hard driving with the wheel inserts? I would be a bit nervous of those with the mountain driving I do on "free" weekends! Not like I see free weekends anymore...but you know.  8)

Seen those things but never tried them....... :?

My rims don't have time to get dirty
