A few WTB items

Ok, so long time-no see everyone! I'm officially BACK in the TGP community. I just bought Air TGP's TGP, and GOD I LOVE IT! I had a previous TGP that died...no clue how or what happened, but yeah. Onto my topic: I'm trying to find a few items.

1) The Turbo Grand Prix headliner with the words on it...preferably with the headliner not drooping.

2) A driver's side door panel, on a tan interior. More precisely, the plastic tan part that surrounds the door handle and goes up towards the window, but stops by the door speaker.

3) I've seen pictures, and bid on, a Turbo Grand Prix Official Pace Car jacket. The jacket is Red and Black, and I bid on one over a year ago, probably closer to two years ago on eBay, and I lost it. If anyone knows where I can find one, or has one they'd be willing to sell, please drop me a line.

Ok, so that's about all I have. If anyone can help me out, please do. They aren't NEEDED, but deeply wanted. Thank you and talk to you soon.

hmmm.... i wasn't aware there was writting on the headliners.  mine certainly didn't... (at least not till I made it ;) )

You may also want to mention Sunroof or no sunroof, what good is a big huge hole in the headliner with no sunroof :lol:  :P

Well, on my old '89, right behind the sunroof were the words "TURBO Grand Prix" and if I can recall correctly, TURBO was in bold letters and directly below it was Grand Prix in a form of cursive...I remember wanting to have it redone because it was sagging so bad, but I had a bad job with no money and knowledge of how to do it. It was a normal headliner with the words embossed(?)...the words stuck out and the headliner covered it.

My current TGP doesn't have it either, and I just figured someone replaced it with one out of a non TGP GP. Has anyone else seen these?

I guess it's possible that the guy who had it before me had it done specially...kind of doubted it because he never took care of the car.

But about the other things on the WTB...anyone know where I can find them?

I think that your headliner with embossed/embroidered writing was a custom deal much like the "Turbo GP" floor mats I have in my car(the previous owner ordered some replacements with that embroidered in them).

as far as number 2 goes, I don't know as that comes off of the rest of the door.  Haven't removed a door in a long time but it doesn't seem that it was a seperate part.  I'll be probably going over to Harry's U Pull it this week (largest U-Pull it yard)  so send me a PM or something if you want me to look around for one.  Not sure what shipping would be like on something like that from PA.

And the jacket, haven't seen one of them for sale in a LONG time.  Don't konw how you'd go about geting one of them. THey sure are nice jackets though.
