accumulator

well i finally got around to changing the accumulator today, and now instead of the pump running every pedal push and the yellow abs light blinking, the pump runs now every other pedal push and the light does not come on now.  what the hell could it be now?  any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds close to normal. Mine recycles every 3rd or 4th push. Did you bleed the brake system after you replaced the accumulator? Have you flushed the system completely lately?

If the light went away I would be happy about it! :wink:  :lol:

that's normal.  If you aren't experiencing any trouble lights everything is fine, every other push is normal especially when you have an older PMIII, internal leaks and failing seals can cause pressure drop.  The 40K mi PMIII have gets 3 steady, so 2 isn't bad, but whos counting, as long as the lights are off.   :wink:

damn, well thats good to hear, i guess i'm just not used to early abs systems.
