HUD needed for 90 TGP

I only need the LED itself but I dont think anyone has just that lying around so the unit and not the casing is what I need as mine just fried and I'm jonsin'   :icon_cry:  I'd like to get one from someone here rather than ebay.

I am sure you did...but did you troubleshoot it to the LED or maybe the fader switch or dim light function?

I did and thanks for asking.  I have no voltage reading AT the LED and there is a small burn mark at the grounding solder joint as well.  I cleaned and re-soldered the LED to the board just to make sure and still got no reading so I'm fairly positive thats what it is.

Yeah looks like you have done some troubleshooting. ;)

Yesterday I swapped out my HUD dimmer for another and forgot that the key needs to be turned to the "On" position for the HUD to light up. Thought I hurt a connection or broke a wire till the light in my head lit up and said...DUH the key has to be on! :icon_redface: :icon_lol:

I got about 5 TGP style huds in my local yards. But I dont have the time to get them out. Wish I did, could make a killin on ebay. All had good dash pads, and everything. One GTP only had 31k on the odometer. Wonder what it was doing in the yard..
