I do see them from time to time on ebay for $20/ea...but that price I think is about the going rate. I am sure somewhere someone is selling them cheaper...but to get them quickly that seems to be the going rate.

I finally bought a set of 4 KYB GR2's for my TGP from a local shop here in Kitchener called Marken's Performance. I paid $347 CDN taxes included for the set, and he had them in the next day.

I already have the front cartridges in, have to get new jounce bumpers for the back before I put them in.

I figured that by the time you take currency exchange and duty/brokerage fees into account, that it wasn't a bad price.

Matt,

Was that for all 4 including rear mounts and boots? or just the front cartridges and rear struts???

Edit:

Here are the prices I got from a guy in Brampton Ont.

Front inserts 65.99 each
Rear struts 74.61 each

That was just for the cartidges and struts. The KYB mounts and boots were all special order so I got some Monroe ones from Canadian tire.

Those prices are very close to what I paid (don't have the bill in front of me) I'll look at the bill tonight and post prices.

Dug up my bills. I paid $66 CDN each for the front cartridges, and $85 CDN each for the rear struts + tax. I purchased these at Marken Performance on Ottawa St. in Kitchener.

My Monroe rear mount & boot kits which include the mount, boot, jounce bumpers and hardware cost $59 CDN each + tax. I purchased these at Canadian Tire on Weber St. in Waterloo.

i DO NOT recommend buying anything from car-stuff.com!

i ordered all four struts on the 5th.  got a tracking number shortly afterwards.  box arrived on time (the 14th) but only included the rear struts.  i had no other tracking number so i tried calling them on the 15th and was put on hold forever so i finally gave up.  i sent them an email on the 16th asking them where my front struts were.  still no reply at all.  so i tried calling again (16th) and was put on hold for 10 minutes then i'm stuck talking to some guy i can barely understand.  he finally tells me that the front struts were shipped from a different warehouse and are on the way.  i asked him to email me the tracking number and still haven't gotten any email from them.  front struts still have not arrived.

i would have rather spent a little more at tirerack.com than to save a few bucks and sit here and hope i get my front struts :icon_evil:
