GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not into soccor that much. The only thing I have ever liked about soccor was when I saw a female streaker go across the playing field, kick the ball, and score. I wonder if they counted that ball as a score, or did the ball score on the streaker?? Anyways...

Last night here in Italy, no cars were on the road, restruants & stores closed early....  What a game - I cant believe we got the goal taken back.  I was expecting some heavy duty partying if Italy won / rioting if they lost, speaking to my neighbors some of them feel the referees were bad - but still take the tie none the less.

Hey the US outplayed them even down a man.  The Italians should feel lucky that they got away with playing such a lazy game, but then again so should we because we didnt really score our goal for ourselves.  The refs were calling a different game and IMO they ruined it when they gave that red card right before the 45 minute mark.  Obviously if you give a yellow and then another it's red, like they did 2 mins into the second half, its justified, but it wasnt really as good as it could have been.

I have watched almost every game (love the DV recorder) and from what i have seen!! the WORLD is catching up with the traditionally "good" teams....

and LOL @ FRANCE!!!!! One goal in the last 2 WC tournaments and NO WINS!!!!

glad there are some upsets in the making and none are concerning Germany........yet  :icon_neutral:

TUESDAY Germany vs. Equador 10 AM eastern we will see who wins Group "A"  :icon_biggrin:

as for the refs and officials FIFA has ordered them to "crackdown" on the infractions and its getting Stupid!!

Franz Beckinbauer ever said its ruining this tourniment the amount of yellow cards being given out for BS calls, and i agree.  :icon_mad:

awww come on baseball isn't that bad.  I'm a big fan of the game, always loved playing when I was younger and trying to find a decent softball team that I can play on around here somewhere.  I used to be a big sports nut when I was a kid and watched football and baseball, and I have to admit that I haven't watched the Super Bowl in at least 3 yrs, although I did watch a bit of the Steelers/Seahawks this yr.  A local kid plays on the Seahawks, special teams captain, Isiah Kacyvenski (don't know how to spell it).  I met his Dad doing my laundry one day and had a heart to heart with the guy, truly nice people.  Anyway, I've been watching more soccer this time around then I ever did, and I played soccer as a kid.   :icon_cool:
