Alright

Currently in my car-

Rebuilt Getrag 284-
stage 3 clutch kit
everything else needed for the swap minus flywheel


out of the car

1 tranny that grinds into 2nd
a bunch of other stuff



Reason for selling-
Getting rid of the 5-speed......
















And changing it up to a 6 speed

as for price - $1200 for everything. the clucth is worth 500+ and has about 1000 miles on it

yes kenny, im going to attempt it.

i test drove a 06 G6 GTP 'vert, the trany seemed nice,  other then being ale to hit governer in 5th pretty easily. that wont be a worry though

it will be my over- the winter swap, as well as some other minor mods im not to sure on yet

What kind of clutch is in it, do you know what the pressure rating is, and have you had any problems with it slipping at all?  I'm assuming all gears shift smoothly in the tranny?  Also, where are you located?

So this is everything I will need....shifter, cables, pedals, etc...???

I think its time I finally get off my lazy ass and finally 5 speed swap the STE and I have cash so let me know.... :icon_biggrin:

its an ezclutch, alot of cavi people use them (well not the same one but you know) i dont know what the pressure raiting is. no definitly no problems with slipping, the clutch does hit hard.

the tranny shifts like cuttting through butter.

Would you be willing to meet partway?  Toronto is a 6.5hr. drive (almost 400mi.) from me so even if you could drive like 100mi. that would help me out a lot. 

I definately want it, just let me know when its available and we can work out how we're going to do this.
