No idea how it happened, nor where it came from yet.
I'm not too concerned about it since it was nothing lethal or malicious towards the site. However the "hacker" was a nice enough guy to create a copy of the original index.php file before he copied the hacked file over. All we had to do was rename the original back to what it should be and everything was peachy again.
It's a good thing I do weekly database and forum backups just in case shit like this happens.

not funny it was hacked and possabily some harm came to all the "valuable" info on there over the years.

funny when you clicked on the URL for the site and you have to do a double take and you think you messed up then some animated face of a arab shows up.
