Kinda wainting for Jeff (kuntzie) to make a move since he is the only one close and then Kenny could give him the fastest TGP award, but only for a little while don't plan on letting him keep it for long. Only flogged on mine for about 6 runs to get my best time. I'am pretty sure there is alot to go, like at least 5# and some gas

Jeff keep pluging away. GET A FRIGGING CLUTCH THAT SLIPS, THERE OUT THERE. Had one, read about them and loved them. Sooooooo easy on the drive line. I am afraid to run for fear of breaking an axel and you will have bought all of them in the world. :icon_biggrin:

Jud

jud did you  see my dyno #s ........ and dont worry once i get the crown i dont plan on losing it :)im gunna make an attempt at the track this weekend...  until then you can hae the fastest tgp award........ engoy it while you can , under 48 hours and it will be mine

Good luck this weekend Jeff, hope you can pull it off. Try and keep it together. I'll take it back when I get
around to it. :icon_lol: I don't mind being second fastest for awhile.

Yes I saw your dyno run. Thought the HP would be a little more. Think something was wrong with the test or your motor. The 3800 peak and then the rapid fall indicates something is wrong. But then again I have never run 18 psi. If nothing wrong with test or motor I would say the turbo is maxed and it's pumping hot air. Just my opinion, don't really know why but it aint right. :icon_rolleyes:

Jud

look here for your clutch. They make one for our cars. Stage5. http://optionimports.com/spec.html

I changed my oil, filter, and serp. belt last weekend, and today I washed my TGP and mascara'ed it.  It turned out really well.  :icon_cool: I posted pics in this link: http://www.tgpforums.com/index.php?topic=3575.0

Did a little port work on my rebuilt heads and started my aux. oiler setup for cam lobes 9/10. Once I have a nozzle/mister to cap off the oiler pipe with, I'll be able to get my top end back together :icon_cool: (See question here: http://www.w-body.com/forum/index.php/topic,39094.msg608045.html#msg608045)

Created a HOT TUNE for the TSTE. I am now showing better HP and slightly less torque to the wheels than the TGP with a 5-speed.

Man is she full of herself now! ;)

How much for one of these said chips you are talking about there with just a few different changes?  I could really use another chip right now to switch between to determine any issues with drivability since the TG160 chip grew legs....

The Cutlass is mobile again with new Clutch Slave and Master Cyl installed......and a custom plate that firmly holds the Clutch Master in the firewall hole so it can't move or flex and break again!!!

As soon as it is dialed in for timing it will be $450. Considering it will spank the pants off of anything else out there...sorry Dave ;)...and a minimum of a 50+ HP and 50ft/lbs increase it is well worth it.

I saw it comming so im not suprised really....

i haven't gotten much done recently :icon_frown: i miss driving the Turbo Cutty so much.  i'm not too enthused about modding my Regal or GTS really...i just want to take my Cutlass to the next level!  buying my Regal and my GTS this summer put a huge delay in the Cutlass project  :icon_rolleyes: but hopefully soon i can dive in and finally get some work done.

anyways, i'm hoping to bring the 3400 down to the machine shop SOON to have the block & crank checked out so i know for sure it will be a good candidate for a rebuilt.  hopefully it is, and then it's time to start spending money!  i'm shooting for 350whp pushing 12psi.  with forged pistons i should be able to boost up to 20psi with a T3/T04E and good FMIC.  i think the only thing TGP specific i'll be using will be the wiring harness, ECM and modified TGP code.

i finally got my Cutlass in my garage tonight.  i put the car up on jackstands and removed the entire stock single outlet exhaust system so i could install the dual outlet exhaust from my old TSTE.  i still need to cut the driver's side of the rear bumper for the other outlet (and mount the muffler hanger) but it looks MUCH better with dual outlets :icon_biggrin:  i also removed both rear strut/coilover assemblies.  i already have new KYB GR-2 struts and KYB strut mounts ready to go in but i still need to order an FFP coilover kit.  i also removed the new GM balljoints which are now trashed due to the NAPA balljoint press i used on them.  the press seems to have distorted the threads on the stud.  i'm going to try running a die down the threads before ordering new ones.  hopefully that will do the trick.

Well anything out there being offered. ;) I need to go in and play with the TGP settings as well. You and I got that dialed in well for fuel...but the timing needs some work. Not much so I do not see much more than what we are getting now...but some more can be found.
