tgp problem help

I had recently got a 90 tgp and i am having a problem.Ok first off it has a miss at top around 3500 to redline it acts like it is starving for gas and makes it a big dog and i dont understand why?But the big problem now is that one day i floored the car and it just shut down on me out of the blue and left me stranded car would crank but would not start but if i wait for about 24 hours it would start but u could let the idle but in less then about ten minutes it would die and not start again.Well it would start the next day and would do the samething again but as a month has went by it has got so bad the car will not fire up at all even know it is tryin.I got it to start by using starting fluid.but if it did start it would idle for ten seconds and shut off but if u hit the gas it dies as soon as u do.OK i have replaced the ECM,fuel pump,fuel filter,and fuel pump relay.next try is fuel regulator.If anyone has a clue what could be causing such a pain to me please let me know. I Love the car my dad passed away and it was his but if i cant fix it i am forced to sell.

Have you checked out your fuel injectors?
What about the turbo crossover pipe? Is it the original?

cross over is orignal car was owned by a older lady and was stored for a while has only 70,000 miles on the car but as for the injectors i am checking them tommarow and that should tell me a little more. has anyone heard of using injectors from a 3800?

Well there are many things that can cause that symptom. Do you have a way to datalog your car? Laptop?

no nto at this time i do have a palm pilot and a lap top what what else do i  need to do that?

My opinion is that it could be a couple 3 or 4 or 5 things LOL.

First, Injectors - My car did this for a long while, I had 2 injectors bad, and I just replaced the set with the above mentioned 3.8 injectors
Second, ICM - It could be getting warm enuf to kill itself in those 10 minutes. Its not unheard of.
Third, CPS - I dont think this is the problem. usually they work or they dont, but weirder things have happened.
Forth, bad computer/EEPROM - I have heard this is a common problem on the w-body cars. I replaced mine with a GM Reman unit I found in a junk yard dated 7-05. And I replaced the chip with a JeffM TG160.
Fifth, Weak fuel pump - After it warms up, the metal expands making it so it cant push fuel anymore.

Am I missing anything here guys?

fuel pump is brand new would a map sensor or fuel regulator have anything to do with it by any chance?

OK I'm new on this tpg thing what is an cps and i have replaced the ecu but used the stock eprom could that very well be the problem?And by the way i got in the car today and it started on the first crank like nothing was wrong i let it idle for ill say five minutes and it died when i tried to restart it it tried to turn over but acted like it was starving for fuel?

O and what is the icm anybody and where is it on the car and does anyone know where the map sensor is located?

CPS is a crank position sensor. i am still leaning to minjectors thou

Oh guys no the car will start and idle for like 4 second and die or i can tap the gas and it dies what is that?Does anyone have an idea?
