in Canada is now 6 year/ 160 000 km warranty powertrain.. upgraded from the 3 year/ 60 000 lm warranty currently

heres some small details

The new GM 5yr/160,000km warranty covers all 2007 car & light duty truck models; fully transferable and with no deductible, covers more than 900 components connected to the engine, transmission, transfer case and final drive assemblies. GM also expanded roadside assistance and courtesy transportation programs.

Dark Ride

Trying to stay in business, many people look at the manufacturer's Warranty as one of the deciding factors in buying a car, it would definetly make me more apt to buy a GM.  (I would anyway, but only because I'm loyal)
Thats Good, I'd hate to see the foreign market crush GM, (and dodge and ford cuz none of them are doing real good)
