does anyone have an explanation as to why it doesn't make power to redline??  is the gt2871 still too small on the ehaust side??  i would have thought you would make power around 3 and kept going (or leveled off) all the waty to redline!  especially with the big intercooler!  do you think 18psi was all hot air?? maby a drop in boost would help hp??  oh yeah what are you doing for tuning for boost levels over 14.7??  race gas or pump??  did you tune at all on the dyno?

those are some pretty awsome numbers though!  keep making more!

futuretgp'er......

i am not running a MBC or anything like that. my car is set at 15 PSI when the previous gear is basically maxed out (for like going down the track)
the afermarket turbo is still giving me slight problems wih oerboost if i ppunch it from under ~ 2000 rpms

the wa they were doing it at the dyno was starting in 4th at like 1100 rpms, so wen my boost is already at 18 psi by like 3900 rpms instead of the usual 6k.

the problem (i think) is that the wastegate on the gt2871r s hreaded and very stiff, like hard to pull.

anyways, no powergain was comming after 4500 rpms due to fuel cut/ overboost. so his was my last run and the agas was let of at like 4k thats all.

i need bigger, yet again, injectors. im goig with a set of flowmatched 42 lb/hr, almost double from stock, but then i wont have to worry and i am doing a engine overhaul as well  so that will be sufficient for he power ill be making. at 300hp/ 400 ft/lbs i sould already be running 36# injectrors anyways.

next year this time i hope to be hitting 380 WHP and 450+ ft lbs of torque.

it shouldnt be to hard with a good tune, the FMIC, Port and polish, head work , cam, forged pistons, and other thigs aswell. (and a 6-speed swap :)
